One would expect this kind of view out at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California where the marine layer piles up thick fog over the base obscuring their rocket launches throughout the year, but this view from South Beach in Vero Beach of the Crew-3 launch at 9:03 p.m. on 10 November 2021 from Kennedy Space Center in Florida comes close. This time exposure captures the first three minutes of the flight, which can not be seen through the thick clouds and rain moving onshore. Very disappointing. Regardless, the four astronauts launched safely on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket pushing the Crew Dragon Endurance spacecraft into orbit on its way to the International Space Station.
