A family of Pileated Woodpeckers at the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area.  The images are of two juvenile females who were excitedly and rather noisily exploring the old oak trees in front of Audubon House.

The recent rains have brought the Resurrection Fern and other plants growing on the limbs to life.
