This building constructed in 1926 has undergone many unknown uses to finally end up as an antiques mall, at least in its most recent incarnation. Besides its pleasing if somewhat spooky architecture, its location atop a high and somewhat lonely point on the Florida Ridge north of Fort Pierce provides a commanding view of the area, especially eastward toward the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. Most likely the building’s best days are behind it given its current boarded up state. From this angle the building hides a little secret that will be revealed in a later post. Nothing to get too excited about.
