The China Pavilion is centered around a reproduction of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. The original was constructed in Beijing during the early 1400s and is part of a larger complex of buildings called the Temple of Heaven. The Emperor of China would visit the Temple annually to pray for good harvests.
