A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the Globalstar 2-R Launch 1 mission to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 9:12 p.m. on 15 August 2026. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the Landing Zone 40 (LZ-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
