Infrared images of the Vero Beach Train Station that is the home of the Indian River County Historical Society. The train station was built in 1903 at a location just down the tracks for use by Henry Flagler’s railroad. The station was used until the 1960s when passenger service was ended and the building was abandoned. The historical society bought the building for $1 in 1984 and had it moved to its present location in downtown Vero Beach. The renovated building opened to the public in 1987 as the office of the Indian River County Historical Society with exhibits on Indian River County history.

The bunting is actually red, white, and blue but appears white in infrared.
