A statue of Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison “Jack” Schmitt on the surface of the Moon. He had the distinction of being the only scientist, a geologist, to walk on the Moon during the Apollo program. The rest came from test pilot/fighter pilot backgrounds. The statue is on display in the Saturn V Center at the Kennedy Space Center.
