The Falcon 9 booster on the Transporter-3 mission heads up then flies back down for a landing after releasing its second stage to continue on into orbit with its payloads.

Wild morning on Thursday when SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral on a southerly trajectory and then landed the booster successfully at Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Base.
