The downtown Vero Beach Christmas tree seen through another of the city’s lighted displays – at least the part that works. The annual riddle that is never answered is why the lighted display only partially works from year to year. Oddly, it is different sections that work each year, which makes it even more of a mystery. I can’t recall ever seeing the whole thing working at one time. And, sadly, no one seems imbued with enough holiday spirit to fix it.
So to all, Merry/Happy [make your own choice] Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and, for the pagans, Winter Solstice or Saturnalia! A thousand pardons if I missed anyone so a big Happy Holidays to cover the rest.
