The gated entrance to Theatre Plaza in downtown Vero Beach leads to a few shops below and apartments upstairs.  The theater itself is closed.  This used to be the entrance to the Florida Theater movie house, which has been extensively remodeled, that opened in the early 20th Century. The gate opens directly onto the street-side sidewalk along 14th Avenue.
