A blast (off) from the past as the old hard drive coughs up an image of the MiTex launch from June 2006.

A United Launch Alliance Delta 2 rocket successfully lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station [now Cape Canaveral Space Force Station] at 6:15 p.m. on 21 June 2006 after several delays including a boat trespassing in the Range. The rocket is carrying twin satellites collectively called the Micro-satellite Technology Experiment (MiTEx) to test new technologies for military satellites. An experimental rocket stage from the Navy Research Laboratory is, also, making its first test flight.
