The once thriving Press-Journal newspaper became popular enough in Indian River County to build this office building and newspaper printing facility in Vero Beach in 1969. Founded in the early 1900s, the family run newspaper sold out to a media giant which gave up the local angle to turn it into part of a regional media outlet mostly sourced and printed out of county. The building has been vacant since 2015.
