Cherubim adorn the light poles outside the old Indian River County Courthouse in downtown Vero Beach.  Across the street are Pocahantos Park and the Heritage Center.  The Heritage Center used to be an entertainment center for servicemen stationed at the Naval Air Station in Vero Beach during World War II.  Today the servicemen may be gone but the place is still entertaining people.
