    I love the story that the Atala was thought to be extinct until developers discovered that the Coontie plant was an ideal Landscaping plant as it always looked good, and kept growing with little care. Then suddenly due to its being the host plant for the Atala, the Atala has come back. Now if we could only find other host plants…for landscapers.
