An afternoon kayaking trip on the Indian River Lagoon was thwarted when the kayaker realized he had forgotten his sunscreen. In his defense, the Sun was blindingly hot at the Oslo Road boat ramp at the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area and out on the open water it would have been worse. He packed everything back up onto his car and set out saying he was going off to buy suntan lotion. I did not stick around long enough to find out if he returned or not.
