The Crew Dragon Demo-1 spacecraft that recently returned from the International Space Station after flying an automatic test flight there and back returns to Port Canaveral aboard the Go Searcher recovery ship on 9 March 2019. The Demo-1 spacecraft had parachuted to a landing in the Atlantic Ocean the day before. The arrival back at Port was the beginning of a late night operation to get the spacecraft off the ship and back to its hanger for study. A successful outcome to this flight means astronauts will be flying to the International Space Station aboard the next Crew Dragon later in the year.
