It seems appropriate to show a few photos from a long ago visit to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta, Georgia, on the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King’s funeral service following his assassination on 4 April 1968.
Martin Luther King, Jr., like his father before him, was once the pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Originally buried at the South View Cemetery in Atlanta, his body was exhumed and moved in 1977 to be next to the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
