Spent Saturday as the official photographer / videographer of the Transforming Landscapes for a Sustainable Future conference held 19 & 20 January 2018 at the Emerson Center in Vero Beach, Florida. Hosted by Pelican Island Audubon Society, the event attracted over 300 participants and brought renowned speakers from all over Florida and the country. The ultimate goal of the conference was to educate people about the importance of using native plants in landscaping for the benefits, to name a few, of saving water, minimizing fertilizer, and reducing stormwater runoff while attracting native wildlife, especially birds, to one’s yard.
