Church | Indian River County | Florida
Here starts the occasional Sunday survey detailing the tremendous diversity of church architecture in Florida. There are two churches one building away in different directions from where I sit now writing this, and a third church a street over that covers an entire city block with its large church building, classrooms, etc., and parking lot. To drive around town is to be within sight of a church almost constantly. Happily, commonality of appearance is rare except for a few similar features, like the cross seen here. Beyond that, people seem content to worship anywhere, either from inside a small storefront in a strip mall to inside an oversized architectural monstrosity.
