Hunting At Dawn

A Red-shouldered Hawk searches for breakfast in the first light of dawn. The photos were taken sitting inside a car using it as a blind during a surprise early morning encounter along a narrow country lane. The limitations of using a car for a blind is evident in the last photo of the hawk about to fly away. The cab of the car blocked the view of the hawk as it flew away off the power line.
