Sunday Sunrise, Sea Oats, Sea Turtles, Spiders, and Squirrels

Here are a few photos from a Sunday visit to the beach starting with sunrise through the sea oats just south of Sebastian Inlet State Park.
Fresh tracks in the sand reveal overnight a Loggerhead Turtle came out of the ocean to build a nest up by the dunes and then went back into ocean.
Researchers use stakes and orange tape to mark off a sampling of sea turtle nests on the beach at Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge.
Boaters came out in force into the Atlantic Ocean through Sebastian Inlet to take advantage of the windless, almost pond like, conditions just offshore the beach.
A spider grooms itself in Bob Bruce and Janice Broda’s backyard located just over the dunes from the beach.
