Still on the nest

An afternoon walk out at Treasure Hammock Ranch revealed the Sandhill Crane is still on her nest. It must be getting close to the time for the eggs to hatch.
The red arrow points to the Sandhill Crane’s little island nest in the wetlands at the edge of the woods.
