The well-dressed iconoclast had to shop somewhere else after the fire of 1996 brought an end to one of Ybor City’s fashionable youth culture hot-spots – pardon the pun. Oh, Sweet Charity! Somewhere in Florida | From the B/W negative archive Waiting for the singer, the band and the audience, the microphone expectant. At a concert in an old theater in Ybor City, the bouncers patrolled the room cracking down on smokers due to the fire hazard. The bouncers pounced on me for a moment mistaking in the dark from a distance the red light on the flash attachment as a lit cigarette. Sometimes, like this image, ambient light is best.
