A Honey Bee about to alight on a pink Powderpuff Mimosa flower found along the roadside at the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area. Also known as Sunshine Mimosa, the flowers of this ground-covering plant are quite popular with the bee and butterfly crowd.
Took a walk with Janice Broda, of the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area (ORCA) blog, this morning through part of the South ORCA scrub in Indian River County, Florida.
