A Land Crab (Cardisoma guanhumi) came out of its burrow around sunset and attacked my camera though it may have been an act of love rather than hate. This was shot in a mangrove wetland along the Indian River Lagoon in Indian River County, Florida. The acton is sped up to make up for the Crab’s slow movements and today’s short attention span.
Sitting at my desk at (Pelican Island) Audubon House I was happy to look out the window and see this Blue Land Crab (Cardisoma guanhumi) exploring the breezeway.
