A captured German V-2 rocket engine from World War 2 on display at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The first rocket launched from Cape Canaveral was a captured V-2 rocket modified with a WAC Corporal sounding rocket attached to the top making it a 2-stage rocket that launched on 24 July 1950.

Note the engine is upside down with the engine bell at the top.
