The Indrio Road Park contains the old one room schoolhouse built in the early 1900s in St. Lucie County.

Today it is a park with restrooms and a playground and plenty of grass to roam around on under shady trees.

The park is at the corner of Emerson Avenue/27th and Indrio Road.

The wooden school house is a nice throwback to early-Florida pioneer architecture.

Traffic whizzes by without a clue to how peaceful the place is.
