Cresthaven

Image #250412

Cresthaven, also called The Boston House, in downtown Fort Pierce overlooking the Indian River Lagoon. This is a view of the back of the building looking toward the Lagoon rather than the more formal view of the front.

The building was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1985 for being, “. . . architecturally and historically significant at the local level. Constructed in 1909, the building is one of the most architecturally distinguished structures in Ft. Pierce. The building is an unusual amalgam of the Georgian Revival and Neo-Classical styles, architectural styles not commonly seen in South Florida.”
