Cars streak by and over the 17th Street Bridge spanning the Indian River Lagoon in Vero Beach, which is having serious structural problems repaired caused by its age (constructed 1977-1979) and exposure to the elements.  The tall building at right is part of the sewage treatment plant located next to the bridge.
