One of the long rows of stores in the Miracle Mile Plaza shopping center in Vero Beach.  Typical of a Florida strip mall, albeit a very large and complex one encompassing both sides of the road and parts of the surrounding area.  According to the City of Vero Beach’s centennial history, Vero Beach: Journey Through Time, “The City’s first shopping center, “Miracle Plaza” opens, boasting 97,919 square feet of floor space. – April 28, 1960”
