The twittering of little songbirds drew me to an oak tree on Indian River State College’s Mueller Campus where I found at least two and possibly more Blue-gray Gnatcatchers actively foraging for insects through the tree’s dense foliage. These are fast moving little birds that rarely stay in one spot for more than a few moments making photography difficult. Though just trying to find the birds among the limbs and leaves was a challenge in itself.
