Egret Marsh Stormwater Park is a popular night roost for Sandhill Cranes. At sunset one night an astounding 149 Sandhill Cranes were recorded landing on the algae mat that cleanses canal water where the large birds spend the night. These images show the arrival of the first of the Cranes just before sunset.
