The Clay Theatre, one block from the St. Johns River, in the small town of Green Cove Springs, Florida, sits forlorn and empty these days after closing in 2014. The star set into the cement out front lists it as The Palace Opera House & Motion Picture Show Circa 1916, then becoming the Clay Theater in 1937 to exclusively show movies.
