Turkey Vultures and Black Vultures have been visiting me at work the past few mornings at the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area (ORCA). My view out the office window is of these lovely birds—and I mean that genuinely—relaxing up in the trees or atop the poles around the parking lot. The real fun is when they fly onto the roof, landing with a loud thud, then walking around with a clomping sound that leaves me looking amusingly up at the ceiling in wonder.

These are beautiful shots. Vultures are truly great creatures. Fascinating.
