Summer seems to be here in Florida, at least this afternoon seemed exceptionally hot waiting around for the SpaceX CRS-3 commercial cargo flight to the International Space Station that was finally delayed until at least Friday due to a helium leak in the Falcon 9 rocket’s first stage. I’m sure we can all relate to that. In the meantime, here is an image of the patch flown on the first SpaceX flight to the Space Station on display in a crowded glass case with lots of other space memorabilia presented to the 45th Space Wing Weather Squadron. I was lucky enough to be part of the NASA Social for CRS-2 and you can see all sorts of images from that adventure at http://www.lunarcabin.com/Space_Notes/Space_3/space_notes_3_1.html
